Five Ways to Visit Disneyland Resort on a BudgetCheap Travel Tips for Disney’s California Theme Parks
Disney offers inexpensive and sometimes free ways to visit Disneyland and Disney's California Adventures that are perfect for families on a budget.
In today's economically trying times, most people may think that a family vacation is out of the question. The Disney theme parks in California and Florida have several special offers available this year that may help make a family vacation affordable. Visit Disneyland for Free on your Birthday Register your birthday in 2009 and receive a voucher for a free one-day admission on your birthday. The voucher will be sent by email and must be used on your birth date. You must be at least 13 years of age to register on the site, but parents can register their children. There is no limit to the number of family members that can register, but you must register a proper birth date as proof of the date is required when redeeming the voucher. Passholders and multi-day ticket holders can register their birth dates, and will be able to receive one of three gifts in lieu of the birthday admission. Gifts available are a birthday fun card equal to the cost of the one-day admission to use for merchandise in the parks; a FastPass badge for certain Disney attractions; or a one-day ticket to use anytime before your next birthday. Free Disneyland Tickets for MilitaryThrough June 12, 2009, all active and retired military personnel can receive one 3-day "Disney Armed Forces Salute" ParkHopper ticket. The offer includes all active and retired US Coast Guard and all activated National Guard Reservists. The ParkHopper ticket is valid at Disneyland and Disney' California Adventures. In addition, all active and retired military personnel who take advantage of the free multi-day tickets will receive one-time special offers on up to five 3-day children or adult passes for friends and family.
