Historic Cypress Inn on California's Pacific Coast HighwayCarmel's Cypress Inn is not only pet-friendly, it's a historic hotel too. When it opened the local press called it "one of the show places of the Monterey Peninsula," and it remains so to this day. She also manages the Doris Day Animal Foundation. Terry's Lounge at the Cypress Inn in CarmelThe lounge at the Cypress Inn in Carmel is named after Doris Day's son, Terry Melcher.
