Here are recommendations of some of the best Los Angeles Airport hotels, and all of them are within a mile or so of the airport terminals.
Crowne Plaza Hotel Los Angeles International Airport

About a 3-minute drive to the airport, the Crowne Plaza has 613 rooms on 13 floors and 600 parking spaces to go with them. There's live jazz in the Brasserie Lounge on Wednesdays, and California cuisine in the Brasserie Restaurant.
Embassy Suites Hotel Los Angeles-International Airport North

The Embassy Suites is about one mile, a 3-minute drive, from the airport. There's also an Embassy Suites South which is just as close. Guests of the Embassy have a 2-room suite, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, nightly manager's reception, and free airport shuttle 24 hours a day. California cuisine is served in their garden atrium.

The Hilton is a quarter-mile from LAX and offers guests a free 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport. It's one of the largest airport hotels in the world with 1,234 rooms, and is popular with international travelers because of its multilingual staff. Two blocks from the airport with a complimentary shuttle service, the Marriott recently had a $22 million makeover. It's a non-smoking hotel, and has four eating options including a Starbucks. There are 985 rooms and 19 suites on its 18 floors.

The Radisson is the closest hotel to LAX, and is actually in walking distance of the terminals. There are 580 rooms, free high-speed internet, and an Olympic-sized heated pool if you have time to relax before the flight or need to unwind after you arrive.
Renaissance Montura Hotel Los Angeles Airport

The Montura is one of the city's luxury hotels, as well as being convenient for the airport. There are 441 rooms and 58 suites, with two concierge levels, an outdoor pool, spa, and 24-hour fitness center. There's California cuisine and wines at the 96th Street Bistro.
The Westin Los Angeles Airport

Four blocks from LAX, the Westin comes with heated swimming pool, health club and sauna. There are 740 rooms, and all have a large desk as a standard feature.
